When Womanhood Walked In….

When womanhood walked in… She arrived centered behind the front line a warrior with a heart of gold.
She viewed the injustices close-up, strong willed and thrilled to finally be heard, slightly hesitant of her
words.
It had been a while as a child; holding onto the hope of the rainbow which was discolored from
generations ago.

There was no time to continue to be a lady as the play she had participated in prior before.
Where she was only exploited and unappreciated so much more.
She finally accepted that wearing the rage of red was okay, sometimes.

The chaos confused her she began to question the why’s and woes; and concluding that the who’s were
in actuality what’s,
cat walking between the living and the dead.
Clearly understanding that sometimes we must stumble to stand but, also aware of the hearts of
humanity.

She tried holding onto hatred but; for her it was like playing dress-up and trying to fit into a size 11 shoe
knowing that she needed a 12.
Even though, she wasn’t cut out for religion yet; Christ was carved into her, her primary overseer.

She enquired to me “Why have you been so denied, defied and depleted?’
I responded hesitantly,” It was conveyed to me because of who I am.”
Then she replied, “Yet, you came to encourage, enlighten and evolve.”
I conquered, “So, I’ve discovered.” ” Likewise, I replied, change is difficult especially in a society where
tint & time over-rides intent.”

Womanhood’s market value was discounted.
She was no longer young and gullible,
she had acquired a few wrinkles on the exterior as well as the interior,
where her heart pumped slower from the scars of yesterday,
from sitting at tables where her enemies reined, from embracing mediocre men not because of their
pocket change but; because of who they were and only whom they wanted to be.

Some people professed that she was desperate, I say that, “She was determined and right in sync with
her true calling.”

Now, that she had decided that she didn’t have to wait for Jesus ascension to mention her own spiritual
awareness, the rise and fall of eagles.
Deciding no longer to be seated with enemies where God has to prepare her table; she has chosen to
choose wisely instead.

Conclusion:  When Womanhood Walked In…

Womanhood proclaimed that, “She was more than just her father’s daughter, and her mother’s child, a
man’s mate only for a while, a baby maker, people pleaser, housekeeper or corporate host but; that she
was forever God’s creation and a queen without the monarchy.”

She had also concluded, in spite of the years of tears that, just as important as the position she held;
was her laughter which she had obtained along the way.
